Katharine Simmons had been actively engaged in sales and marketing communications in the

commercial printing industry since 1981. In 2003 she formed KSPA, Incorporated as a broker

in this same field. After a total of 26 years specializing in commercial printing, she changed

her focus and created KSPA Life Settlements in 2007 within KSPA, Incorporated. The Company

is licensed as a life settlement broker. In addition to being a licensed broker, Katharine also has

her life insurance license. To round out her team she formed a partnership with Tara Shepard,

who also has her broker’s license in life settlements. This collaboration being a perfect fit,

accommodates all size groups in corporate and senior settings and effectively illustrates

the benefits that life settlements can bring to a person’s financial situation.

Tara Shepard, KSPA Life Settlement Partner

Tara Shepard joined KSPA Life Settlements in 2008 and brought her 30 years of professional

sales experience to further expand the company’s customer base. Tara began in commercial

printing sales in the 1980’s and built a network of successful, loyal clients that remained with

her all throughout her long career in printing. Tara’s networking prowess, along with her

acquired life insurance license and life settlement broker’s license, are a valuable contribution

to the partnership. Her perfected speaking and presentation skills to groups and organizations

has provided an immensely effective means of getting KSPA’s vital message to seniors who

can benefit from KSPA’s services.
